On the surface it seems as though it would be easier to act if we had a pure knowledge of the consequences of every action.
But we couldn't be true to the knowledge we'd have. We'd falter and fail, and then be subject to the full, eternal consequences of our actions. An infinite understanding allows the potential for infinite joy, but also requires an infinite punishment upon transgression. As we learn to act righteously on a little knowledge, we are able to handle a little more, and then a little more. Soon we can be entrusted with great knowledge, because we will have built up the strength and fortitude to live up to what we know.
