Servants of God are those who are trying to work for the Lord. The Lord has explained that His work is "to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man" (Moses 1:39). Those who are asked to work for Him are contracted, but money is not the compensation offered. In fact the contract forbids monetary motivation.
For compensation, servants of God are given the grace of God. The money that comes from the tithes and offerings to the church isnot intended to fill the pockets of its leaders, but rather to further the Lord's work--helping God's children progress toward eternal life.
